The FREEWARE program ChainSolver (Win32) has been created as a tool for nuclear chain calculations. It uses the same data as NKE code and takes into account both radioactive decays and possible neutron reactions (threshold ones, thermal neutron captures and neutron induced fission). The user interface is not very simple: somebody has to select the nuclide states to form the chain, give the irradiation conditions, fill neutron fluxes data then press 'calculate' button and see the results (if any). To copy state names to Windows clipboard use right mouse button pop-up menu.
The ChainSolver is proposed to be widely used in the most complex transmutation and isotope production problems solving.
At the moment no published program documentation is available (sorry).See ChainSolver.doc (to be published somewhere/anywhere;) and the program built-in help. Or visit ORIP XXI Code description page.
